A ride on the MATA (McKinney Avenue Transit Authority) Trolley and a great view from Chase Towers Sky Lobby - Dallas

Image
This marked the last day of an intense work in last two months. I finally decided to complete two things that I wanted to do for a long time. Firstly, it was the Chase Sky Lobby I would stare at every evening after my work when I used to go on a walk. Secondly, it was the Free Ride Trolley. Trolley ride was very exciting and had a great time riding on it. These two things finally completed my stay at Dallas Downtown. Looking forward to more such stories in the coming weeks. The madness of sharing pictures

It's been three years that I started exploring the beautiful nature and its mysterious beauties. When I first traveled to Kedarnath and Badrinath, I realized that how could some of the most serene places lied in India. And, the entire experience was captured using an iPhone 4 that had at that time (thanks to my lovely sister and parents who presented this). I used it extensively capturing the scenic beauties of the Himalayan mountains that surround the historic places. Then the following year I got to travel to Dharamshala,India to participate in a trekking event. This was also a fun filled journey as I had an extra accessory this time (a macrolens; courtesy - lovely sister). I ended by capturing close to two thousand pictures during this trip. It was just facebook by then that I knew where I could share my work so that friends of mine could have a look to appreciate what the nature holds at its best. In late 2013, I finally traveled to the United States for my education and the...

A long story of a short journey

A short journey of 11months 18 Days ... Almost an year in the United States. I still remember the long flight trip I've done from Hyderabad - Doha - Houston - Dallas. A wonderful journey accompanied by the beautiful air hostess who me helped get a lavish appetite throughout the trip. "Oblivion" a super english flick , Planes (my favorite animation movie after Minions) and Special 26 (a Hindi flick) were few of the movies I got to watch during the flight journey. A panoramic view of Doha was a feast to the eyes, especially the man made islands were beautiful to look from close to 40K feet in the sky. Rest of the time was spent dreaming about the future in the United States. I still remember the words of my dad's friend who came to wish adieu ... "USA is the mecca of education" and it's very much true in many ways. I totally agree with you uncle :).  The long awaited moment of immigration arrives finally after we reached the Houston Airport. I...

A New beginning at Dallas...

Image
I'd like to begin this post with the funniest and the most different thing that happened ... guess what? Heard of a fortune cookie ... How does that work.. See it for yourself  Amazing isn't it... Started feeling the difference at Dallas. A super family to meet, a long awaited trip that was completed successfully and many mixed feelings for having taken a turn at the crucial juncture in my life, looking curiously to see how things would unwind as days progress, one of my uncle told me that United States is the Mecca of education ,I wish this would become a blessing for me to see what's next best in my life, thanks to my parents and the almighty for helping me grow gradually in my life and become what I'm today, I'm indebted to everything they've  given and shared with me.

Entering another new year

Theres a lot to happen this year (2013),  but 2012 has passed so quickly that there are many things to recall but at the same time I wish there would be alot to learn and enjoy in this wonderful year. I hope everybody also has a splendid and beautiful year ahead.

An article that won me a recognition in The Hindu in 2009

"if you were given a chance to be an animal or bird for a day, which one you prefer to be?" It would be really great, to take into some other form of life, may it be a bird or an animal.I wish to be a bird, for I have many reasons to support my choice. I would have the rare opportunity to reach the highest a man could have ever reached naturally , view everything silently and peacefully , eat the best of the natural products filled with purity, drink the purest of little water available on earth, move into places where any human could have ever been to,fly together with all other birds, adorn the feathers and wings that make me complete as a bird, can be the most lovely creature by only observing but not be able to try change things around me and disturb the most happiest life a man dreams to lead but cannot.Live happily with all the flora and fauna which are very different and co-operative in the way they all live.  I'm surprised to this day , whether I were one who has w...
