Visit to Dallas Arboretum

Image
While the lazy long weekend was coming to an end, I was still thinking whether to leave home or not. Finally after deciding to leave I drive for 30 minutes to reach the Dallas Arboretum. As a rookie photographer trying to get few good moments and pictures of the natures gift (flowers) I walk around the park with my new camera and a round neck hat to make sure nothing comes in my way while I chose to look from the viewfinder. After walking around the garden for quite a while in the scorching sun I got few good pictures. This part of the year wasn't as great as I expected it to be but still managed got a chance to click few good ones.

A visit I have undreamt of to "AT&T Performing Arts Center"

This was one thing I didn't happen to think of doing during my stay at Dallas Downtown. It was experimental but had good time while I stumbled to know of this show called " Love Loss & What I Wore ".  A 90 minute show introduced me to how plays are performed and this was a unique one as I haven't seen such a performance until now. It was great as the ladies spectacularly lived the characters as it slowly involved me with the emotions played on the stage. Before the show began my friend and I strolled across the AT&T Performing Arts Theater . There have been a couple of #BIGDallas signs across the downtown for promoting Dallas Downtown. And, it has been an impressive setup and attracted quite a lot of people posing with signs. And, I had a couple of them taken to be part of the fun. This is the theater where the play Love, Loss and What I Wore was performed. These were few pictures I planned to take the previous evening to capture the reflection

Few great places that made my tummy say Wohoo!!!

I venture out a lot but have this sense of ambiguity whether I'm doing the right thing. Of all that nonsensical stuff that goes in my head, I choose to randomly enter few restaurants for my dinners. Of those many restaurants I've been to in the past few weeks below are few I'd love visiting again. Veg Spring Rolls and Orange Fried Rice at Zenna (has both Thai and Japanese Cuisine) Delicious Paneer Biryani with masala and raitha at Roti Grill - Knox Street(would have been to this place about 20-25 times) Naatu Kodi Paratta at Anjappar (Chennai restaurant in Irving)

A ride on the MATA (McKinney Avenue Transit Authority) Trolley and a great view from Chase Towers Sky Lobby - Dallas

This marked the last day of an intense work in last two months. I finally decided to complete two things that I wanted to do for a long time. Firstly, it was the Chase Sky Lobby I would stare at every evening after my work when I used to go on a walk. Secondly, it was the Free Ride Trolley. Trolley ride was very exciting and had a great time riding on it. These two things finally completed my stay at Dallas Downtown. Looking forward to more such stories in the coming weeks.
